What is Cash?
Cash: Budget is an iPhone budgeting app built around salary cycles, bills, goals and one daily safe-to-spend estimate.
Who is Cash designed for?
Cash is designed for people who receive income on a recurring date and want their plan to last from one payday to the next. It supports English and Arabic and is being built with users in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC in mind.
How is salary-cycle budgeting different from monthly budgeting?
A salary-cycle budget starts when income arrives and ends before the next expected income date. It does not assume the budget must reset on the first day of the calendar month.
What does safe to spend today mean?
It is a budgeting estimate of the flexible amount available for today after recorded spending and planned commitments are considered. It is not a bank balance or a guarantee that every future cost has been captured.
Does Cash connect to my bank?
No. Cash does not connect to or control bank accounts and cannot read a live bank balance.
Can Cash move money or make payments?
No. Cash is not a bank, wallet or payment service and cannot transfer money or pay a bill.
How do transactions get into Cash?
Transactions can be entered manually or captured from text the user deliberately passes to the app. Every captured record should be reviewed before it affects the budget.
Can I use a bank-alert message with Cash?
Yes, a bank-alert message can be deliberately passed through an Apple Shortcut for review. Cash does not independently read messages or save an unreviewed transaction as confirmed.
Where is my budgeting data stored?
Core salary, transaction, bill, goal and budgeting records are designed to remain in the app’s local iPhone container. Limited Apple, website and support processing is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Does Cash support Arabic?
Yes. Cash is designed as a first-class English and right-to-left Arabic iPhone experience.
Is Cash intended for users in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Cash is operated from Riyadh and its salary-cycle approach, SAR examples and bilingual experience are designed to be useful in Saudi Arabia while remaining usable elsewhere.
What happens if my salary date changes?
Update the active salary-cycle dates and review the plan. Cash then recalculates the remaining period using the revised cycle.
How does Cash calculate a budget week?
Cash uses consecutive windows of up to seven days anchored to the salary-cycle start date. The allowance equals the daily safe-to-spend figure multiplied by the actual number of days in that window.
Is Cash free?
Cash is free to download. Ongoing functional use requires an active monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription through Apple.
What happens when a subscription ends?
Existing records remain visible in read-only mode. Deletion, export, restore, legal pages and subscription controls remain accessible.
How does the trial work?
A one-month introductory trial applies only when Apple and StoreKit display it for the selected product, storefront and eligible Apple Account.
Does Cash provide financial or investment advice?
No. Cash provides budgeting calculations and informational decision support. It does not replace regulated financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
Is Cash affiliated with Cash App?
No. Cash: Budget is an independent product and is not affiliated with Cash App or Block, Inc.
