Does Cash read all my messages?
No. Cash cannot directly read the Messages database. It processes only text you paste or intentionally pass through an Apple Shortcut or personal automation.
Does Cash connect to my bank or transfer money?
No. Cash does not control bank accounts and cannot move money.
What if a transaction is parsed incorrectly?
Review the amount, date, merchant, currency, and category before saving. Edit the proposed record or enter it manually.
Is there a functional free version?
No. Cash is free to download, but ongoing functional use requires an active monthly or annual subscription.
How do I cancel?
Open iOS Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Cash, and tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel a displayed free or discounted introductory period at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid renewal.
How do I restore access?
Use Restore Purchases inside Cash with the Apple Account that purchased the subscription.
What happens when access ends?
Existing records remain visible in read-only mode. Paid creation, editing, and other financial mutations are blocked, while deletion, Restore Purchases, Manage Subscription, Export, Restore Backup, Delete Data, Privacy, Terms, and Support remain reachable.
How does the widget work?
The widget displays a limited snapshot prepared by Cash for This Week or This Salary Cycle. It cannot change records. Values may be stale, redacted, or temporarily unavailable depending on refresh timing, device state, and iOS privacy behavior.
How do I delete or export data?
Use Cash’s controls to delete records, reset or delete data, or export where available. Deleting the app removes its local container, while Apple backups may retain copies according to your settings.
Response times
Support is handled as reasonably possible. Privacy-rights requests are handled without undue delay and normally within 30 days, subject to a lawful extension of up to 30 additional days and reasonable identity verification.
